Intimacy

The word intimacy can be taken apart like this: In To Me I See.

The TI in the word intimacy is the beginning of the word tiny. Intimacy is a tiny and small process. It’s contained like a diamond.

Intimacy is feeling safe with a person, place, thing, or situation. It is being fully me: body, mind, and spirit. Intimacy is when I allow myself to be vulnerable and sensitive.

I feel safe with George. He knows me, really really knows me. We got rid of the things we were hiding early in the relationship. That’s intimacy. George is so supportive of me. Even though I make mistakes, George loves me anyway. That’s intimacy.
