Go-Go Girl

I met the Fendermen band at a nightclub in New Jersey. I got to know the band and dated one of them.

It was becoming such a dynamic time in our culture. Everything started happening simultaneously. Elvis, Chuck Berry with The Twist, the Smothers Brothers, and so many other things were happening in the music world and politically. Girl go-go dancers like Goldie Hawn, who was the first dancer on the popular television show Laugh-In, were becoming a sensation, even getting banned because of skimpy costumes.

It was during this time that The Fendermen had the idea to build lighted cages for their own go-go dancers. They asked me to be one of the three dancers. Of course I said yes!
